The latest addition to our Bloom Series, these small 2" snips feature stainless steel blades and recycled plastic handles. The spring-loaded handles help hold onto thread and fabric while cutting, making it easy to make quick, precise cuts with just a light pinch of your fingertips.
Designed for cutting thread and yarn, these snips can also cut through lightweight fabric. They’re great for garment sewing, quilting, embroidery, knitting and crochet, and paper crafts.
Each pair comes with a small flower charm that matches the colour of the snip and symbolizes the flowers of the Bloom Series. They also come with a small sheath to protect the blades.
The green colourway is inspired by Canadian milkvetch (Astragalus canadensis), a plant that blends quietly into its surroundings, with clusters of flowers that reward a closer look. In many ways, it mirrors how we think about scissors themselves: an essential tool that often goes unnoticed, yet plays a critical role in the making process and the environment.
For every pair of Bloom Series scissors sold on our retail site, we’re donating $1 to Ecojustice, a non-profit organization that uses litigation to defend and protect the environment.
The blades are crafted from stainless steel and paired with lightweight handles made from recycled plastic.
