We understand that purchasing high-quality fabric shears is an investment, and we want you to feel supported throughout their lifespan. That’s why we offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all LDH Scissors products against defects in materials and craftsmanship.
This warranty covers defects in parts and materials for all LDH Scissors products purchased directly from LDH Scissors Inc. or from verified retailers. Damage caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, accidents, or normal wear and tear is not covered under this warranty.
If you experience an issue due to a manufacturing defect, we will work with you to resolve it in accordance with our warranty policy. No other warranties are expressed or implied beyond what is stated here.
Lifetime Warranty
What does it cover?
This warranty covers defects in craftsmanship (parts) and materials for the original purchaser of an LDH Scissors product purchased through LDH Scissors Inc. or authorized retailers.
What does it not cover?
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by the user (including impact, dropping, misalignment, or cutting materials beyond the tool’s intended purpose).
- Improper maintenance, improper storage, or exposure to moisture leading to rust or oxidation.
- Normal wear and tear, such as dulling over time, or aesthetic wear (small scratches, finish variations, etc.).
- Product modifications, unauthorized repairs, or mechanical alterations.
- Gifted, promotional, or giveaway products.
- Note: Free sharpening is a separate service benefit and is not part of the warranty.
Maintenance Tips
Regular care helps keep your tools performing at their best. Lightly oil the pivot, wipe clean after use, keep them dry, and store them properly. Lack of maintenance can result in issues that are not covered under warranty. Chipped blades from impact or cutting unsuitable materials can often be fixed by a professional sharpener.

- If your product arrives with a defect, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving it.
- We cannot accept exchanges or returns after 30 days for non-warranty issues. Please see our Returns & Exchanges policy.
- Stainless steel is more resistant to oxidation than carbon steel but is not rust-proof.
- Hand-finished scissors may have minor cosmetic marks that do not affect performance. These are considered normal for handcrafted tools.
- Without proper care and handling, blades can chip. This is considered normal wear and not a warranty defect.
- Damage resulting from drops, impact, or misuse is not covered by the warranty.
How to submit a warranty claim
To submit a claim, please email warranty@ldhscissors.com with:
- Clear photo(s) or a short video showing the issue
- Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)
- Your full name and shipping address
This information allows us to assess the issue and guide you through the warranty process. Please note that shipping fees may apply.
