During this difficult time, social distancing and staying home are highly encouraged. When your home isn’t safe in the best of times, during a pandemic, home becomes a place of increased insecurity and danger. When you can’t afford to feed yourself, necessary personal protective equipment becomes a luxury. We recognize this and we want to help.
In 2021, LDH Scissors Canada will be donating 5% of all of our online retail sales in 2021 to Women's Shelters Canada (@endvawnetwork). Women's Shelters Canada is a network of 14 provincial and territorial shelter networks representing over 400 shelters across Canada. And their initiative, ShelterSafe.ca, is an online resource to help women and their children seeking safety from violence and abuse and allows them to quickly identify a shelter in a specific geographic area along with its 24 hour emergency phone number.
