Our engraving service is back and better than ever! Scissors and snips can now be engraved with letters. The listed price is per scissor, or snip. *Please note that any customized or engraved scissors are not eligible for return.* Please allow one week processing time for engraving.

Add our engraving service to your cart and leave us a note on your cart page detailing what you'd like engraved and on which product or email us at info@ldhscissors.com with your order number. You will be contacted in 2 - 3 business days and we'll send you a mock-up of your request. Please allow one week processing time for engraving.

You will be able to choose from 3 fonts when we send you your engraving mockup. If you have a specific idea, please send us your idea in an email or in the notes section at checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your engraving request but cannot make guarantees due to the limited space available on the scissor or snip.

We reserve the right to refuse requests that we deem inappropriate, racist, homophobic, transphobic, hateful or otherwise, or logos that are trademarked.

Engraved areas could be at higher risk of developing rust. Frequently wipe your blades with oil and store them in the packaging they came in.

FAQs

The measurement you see - such as 8" - is the entire length of the scissor, including the handle.

It depends on how often you use the scissors, what kind of material you’re cutting, and how well you take care of your scissors. When tested in the rigors of professional sewing studios, our scissors outperformed other brands in the same price tier.

Please note that all scissors will need to be sharpened at some point and that dullness is not considered a defect.

This is because we put a coating of oil on the blades to prevent any rust from developing during the shipping process. You can simply wipe it off before using the scissors. However, we do recommend that you apply a thin layer of oil - such as anti-rust, sewing machine oil, or any neutral oil - on the blades and button with a cloth when not in use.
